At Kermit ISD, we are committed to ensuring success and inclusion for all students in the district. We are making strides to create meaningful and inclusive experiences and are excited to announce a partnership with Special Olympics Texas Unified Champion Schools to help meet these goals!
Unified Champion Schools intentionally promotes social inclusion by bringing together students with and without intellectual disabilities to create accepting school environments, utilizing three interconnected components: Special Olympics Unified Sports®, inclusive youth leadership, and whole school engagement. The Yellowjackets are excited to see how Unified Champion Schools changes the culture of Kermit ISD!
