Kermit High School Rotary Student of the Month for September 2023
Nayelli Hernandez, daughter of Luis and Maria Hernandez, is the Kermit High School Rotary Student of the Month for September 2023.
Nayelli is the National Honor Society vice president, class president, and participates in Band and Yearbook. She also participates in Cross Country, Tennis, Volleyball, and Unified Track.
Nayelli has received the superintendent A honor roll award for Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior year. She hopes to make it again this year.
Nayelli's hobbies and interests are balloon decorations, which she currently does for school events such as pep rallies. She also loves to spend time with her family and friends since her family is everything to her.
Nayelli's plans for the future are to graduate high school with an associate’s degree from Odessa College and to continue her education by obtaining a bachelor's degree in agriculture. After college, she would like to become a Customs Border Patrol Agriculture specialist.
