Edel Garcia is the Kermit Junior High Rotary Student of the Month for January. He is the son of Annaveia and Evel Garcia.
He is in the 8th grade recently migrating from Cuba to Kermit. He is currently reading on a 10th grade level.
His activities include playing basketball and Band.
He has won the copper medal in science for a project in chemical reaction. He has been on the AB Honor Roll and participating in the Science Fair.
Edel's hobbies are watching videos about games, playing basketball, tennis, books, cooking and creating sports animations.
Edel's plans for the future are to go to college to study medicine.
