Kermit Junior High Rotary Student of the Month for February 2024
Jason Barnett, the February Rotary Student of the Month for Kermit Junior High is the son of Glenda Hernandez and Justin Barnett.
Jason is involved in track, advanced Math and Reading. He participates in band, football and is the equipment manager in 8th grade.
Jason’s honors and awards received in school are a medal in Modern Oratory in UIL and he medaled in the 300m hurdles. He has also received the outstanding student for science class.
Jason's hobbies and interests include flying drones and gaming.
Jason plans for the future are to go to college and major in business/entrepreneurship. He would like one day to create and own his own business and be his own boss.
