Kermit High School Rotary Student of the Month for March 2024
The Rotary student of the month for March is Kermit High School Senior, Sarah Valdez. She is the daughter of Elco Valdez and Sarai Galindo.
Sarah is a member of the National Honor Society where she serves as Treasurer. She is also a student athlete involved in Unified Track in partnership with Special Olympics. She is taking dual credit college classes through Odessa College and will graduate High School in the top 10% of her class.
Some of her awards that she has received during her high school career has been the AB Honor roll all 4 years. She has also received recognition for going to Unified State Track.
Sarah's hobbies include spending time with her family, going to the gym, volunteering at the hospital and the clinic.
Sarah's plans after high school is to continue in college to pursue her bachelor's degree in Nursing and later specializing in the fields of either Aesthetics or Pediatrics.
