Kermit High School Rotary Student of the Month for November 2025
The student of the month for November is KHS senior, Mis Hayden Tunal. She is the daughter of Jennifer
Hayden has earned numerous academic awards, highlighted by receiving the Superintendent’s Award her sophomore year for maintaining an “A” average throughout the school year.
In her free time, Hayden enjoys playing video games, creating art, and listening to music.
Looking ahead, Hayden plans to attend college and then veterinary school to pursue her goal of becoming a veterinarian.
Kermit High School Rotary Student of the Month for December 2025
The student of the month for December is KHS senior, Mr. Barrett McNurlen. He is the son of Celeste and Tim McNurlen.
Barrett has been actively involved in powerlifting, band, and the National Honor Society throughout his high school career.
His academic achievements include earning the “A” Honor Roll each year and receiving the Superintendent’s Award.
Looking ahead, he plans to attend either Tarleton State University or the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, where he intends to major in psychology with a minor in business.
