Due to weather conditions worsening throughout the day, Kermit ISD will begin dismissing students with the following schedule.
PPCD, Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1st graders will release at 1:30 p.m. at their regular dismissal spots.
2nd grade through High School students will release at 2:00 p.m. at their regular dismissal spots.
Because the temperature is still below freezing outside, we are asking the students who normally walk home to be picked up by a parent in the parking lots of their school.
The Administration Building will be open until 5:00 p.m. today.
The High School Boys basketball game is cancelled due to the weather and will be rescheduled for next week. All extra-curricular activities are cancelled until Monday, February 15th.
There is a student holiday on Monday, February 15th.

Debido a las condiciones climáticas que han empeorado a lo largo del día, el distrito escolar de Kermit comenzará a despedir a los estudiantes con el siguiente horario.
Los estudiantes de PPCD, Prekindergarten, Kindergarten y 1er grado saldrán a la 1:30 p.m. en sus lugares habituales de despido.
Los estudiantes de segundo grado hasta la escuela secundaria saldrán a las 2:00 p.m. en sus lugares habituales de despido.
Debido a que la temperatura todavía está por debajo del punto de congelación, les pedimos a los estudiantes que normalmente caminan a casa que los recoja un padre en el estacionamiento.
Hoy el Edificio de Administración estará abierto hasta las 5:00 p.m.
El juego de baloncesto de los muchachos de la secundaria se canceló debido al clima y se re-programará para la próxima semana. Todas las actividades extracurriculares están canceladas hasta el lunes 15 de febrero.
El 15 de febrero es un día de vacaciones para estudiantes.
