Junior High School Rotary Student of the Month for February 2022
Isayarelli Hernandez, the daughter of Maria and Luis Hernandez, is an 8th grader at Kermit Jr. High.
Isayarelli participates in several school activities such as track, tennis, and cheerleading. She is an "A" Honor Roll student and participates in UIL academics. She participated and received a 1st place award for UIL Oral Reading, 2nd place award for Dictionary Skills, and a 3rd place award for Dictionary Skills - Single.
Isayarelli plans to graduate from Kermit High School in 4 years on the "A" Honor Roll and then plans to attend Texas A&M University to receive a nursing degree to be able to work as a traveling nurse.
