High School Rotary Student of the Month for December 2022
Joseph Lara, the son of Frankie Lara and Amy Valenzuela, is the Kermit High School Rotary Student of the Month for December.
Joseph's school activities include CNA class and being inducted into the National Honor Society. Joseph has also taken dual credit classes through Odessa College beginning as a freshman.
Some of Joseph's awards that he has received are the perfect attendance award and A honor roll. He is also in the top 10% of his 2023 graduating class.
Joseph enjoys playing the piano, reading, and playing chess. He also enjoys playing games, watching movies, and spending time with his friends.
Joseph plans on attending Baylor University and majoring in medicine. He wants to become a psychiatrist.
