Kermit Junior High Rotary Student of the Month for September 2023
Guadalupe Lomeli, the daughter of Javier and Vanessa Lomeli, is the Kermit Junior High Rotary Student of the Month for September 2023.
Guadalupe's school activities include participation in Cross Country, Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Ballet Folklorico, Cheer, Student Council, Band, and 4H.
Her honors and awards received in school are a medal for Best Dancer in Ballet Folklorico. She has also received medals from UIL Art Smart for 1st place in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Ribbons ranging from 1st to 4th places in 4H were obtained. Guadalupe has also received a trophy for qualifying in Regionals for the Science Fair.
Her hobbies and interests are playing sports, staying in shape, learning new things, dancing, going to quinceañeras, listening to music and living up to her parents’ expectations.
Guadalupe's plans for the future are going to college after High School to become a physician focusing on Cardiology.
