KJHS enjoyed a Fun Day on 5/23/23 at the Park and Rec Center. The students got to enjoy many different activities throughout the day. Mr. Leija even cooked hamburgers for everyone to enjoy. Go, Daubers!

Parents, we are sharing some information in regards to graduation tonight, May 26, 2023. Ms. Hayes is actively monitoring the weather situation due to the prediction of rain. Graduation is scheduled to take place at Walton Field. In the event of bad weather, there will be a change to the location and graduation will take place in the Competition Gym at Kermit High School. Parents will be notified of this change and the procedures. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

4th Grade visited the Kermit Jr High campus this week so they could see how the school looked and see where their classes would be on campus. Thank you to our 23-24 School Year Cheerleaders for being awesome tour guides for our up-and-coming 5th grades.

The Kermit ISD Bands would like to invite you to the All Bands Spring Concert on Thursday, May 11th at 6:30 pm. The concert will be held at the KJHS Auditorium. We will start off with the 6th Grade Beginner Band, followed by the KJHS Dauber Band, followed by the KHS K-Band. Please come on out to support our students and enjoy some great music!

Kermit High School had the Awards of Excellence banquet last night and it was a great success. We had many awards and scholarships presented to our students throughout the evening. We are thankful for all those who contributed to the success of our students and we wish them the best as they start the next chapter of their lives.
