Kermit High School art student, Lesley Santos, finished decorating an ornament that will be placed on the Christmas tree at the Texas State Capitol this December. We are very proud of her artistic ability and how well she has represented Kermit!

Very proud of our HS CNA students as they prepare for their upcoming clinical. They were able to visit the Odessa simulation hospital and interact with the Hi-Fidelity mannequins that the health science department uses to educate their students.

The October 16th KJHS Football Game will be at Walton Field. Visitors can park in the Visitor Parking lot on the East side and the Home Side Parking lot on the West side of the field will be open for home parking.

Jr High Football games at Walton Field at 5:00 and 6:00 on October 9th Varsity Football on October 10th at 7:00 at Walton Field Parking on home side will be available. Please be careful of the construction continuing throughout the month.

On September 17, the Kermit ISD Board of Trustees named Oscar Muniz as the lone finalist for the position of superintendent. Muniz currently serves as superintendent in Ralls ISD.     The Kermit ISD board is scheduled to vote to hire Muniz after the 21-day waiting period required by state law.
