Kermit High School held its annual "Awards of Excellence" on May 14, 2026. Our seniors truly came out "dressed to impress" as we celebrated a night dedicated to recognizing their hard work, dedication, and achievements throughout their high school careers. Students were honored for earning top awards in their classes, while many were also recognized with scholarship awards to support their future endeavors. It was a memorable evening celebrating the outstanding Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished.

Kermit High School would like to share the love, showcasing our amazing teachers during 'Teacher Appreciation Week'!

The parking lot painting that was scheduled for tonight at the old high school parking lot has been postponed. The City of Kermit has run into issues with having the area ready, so this event has been moved to next week on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 @ 7:00 p.m.
Again, this event will be taking place at the old high school parking lot.
Athletic and Marching Band physicals will be taking place at Kermit High School on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the Auxiliary Gym.
Physicals and RANKONE forms will need to be filled out EVERY YEAR for any student participating in U.I.L. sports, marching band, and athletics.
Parents: please make sure that your student brings their eyeglasses or contacts on the day of the physicals.
Pre-Participation evaluation forms will be given to students on Friday, May 8, 2026.
