GAME DAY FOR THE LADY JACKETS!

Our Lady Jackets will be traveling to Alpine for the 1st District game of the season. The JV girls will take the court at 5:00 p.m., and tip-off for our Varsity Lady Jackets is at 6:30 p.m. The games will be played at Alpine High School.

2026 KHS SOFTBALL SCHEDULE

Hope everyone had a wonderful Winter Break. With the start of a new semester, Kermit Jr High would like to send out some friendly reminders.

Thank you to KHS Culinary for making Christmas Cookies for KJHS to decorate.

Hope everyone has a fun and safe Holiday Break. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

The City of Kermit will be paving the street in front of the high school (Tommy Thompson Street), and traffic will be blocked off for the remainder of the day.

8th Grade Daubers won the Monahans Boys Basketball Tournament this past weekend. Way to go, Daubers.

The Varsity Boys will play two tournament games at the Performance Center at Andrews High School. The first game will be against Denver City at 9:30 am, and the second game will be against Snyder at 3:30 pm.

The District 2-3A D1 All-District selections are out, and several of our Yellowjackets were selected across the first team, second team, honorable mention, and All-State Academic. Their work throughout the season, both on the field and in the classroom, earned them real recognition across the district.
