The Kermit Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees has employed Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to assist with the search for a new superintendent. The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing a profile of the leadership qualities desired of the person the Board should seek to become the new superintendent.

Parents of all incoming 6th graders, please see the flyer below for Beginning Band tryouts being held next week at Kermit Junior High. All 6th grade students will need to attend if they had not already done so the last week of school. Please contact Mr. Vargas at mlvargas@kermitisd.org if you have any questions!

Registration is open for the 2025-2026 school year for RETURNING STUDENTS. We are doing registration early this year. Letters will go out soon with your student's information. Please visit our website for instructions: https://www.kermitisd.org/page/enroll-your-child
We will be having Summer feeding at no cost for kids 18 and younger starting May 27th – May 30th Tuesday-Friday and June 2nd - June 19th Monday-Thursday. Breakfast will be from 7:30-8:00 AM and lunch is from 11:30-12:30 PM. Meals will need to be eaten inside of the Elementary School Cafeteria.
