On Saturday, February 21st, 6 members of the Kermit High School 'K' Band performed as a sextet at the Region UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest in Andrews, TX. Their performance of "Canzone No. 4" by Giovanni Gabrielli earned a Division 1 rating and advanced to the UIL State Solo and Ensemble Contest! Congratulations to Dillon Hayes on Trumpet, Davian Olivas on Trumpet, Aamiyah Gaona on French Horn, Ivan Fuentes on Trombone, Arai Prieto on Baritone, and Jose Luis Aranda on Tuba for their superior performance!
